Piggly Wiggly Deals – 3/4/15 to 3/10/15

Select Piggly Wiggly stores will double up to 10 coupons, $1 face value and below and your total must be $25 before they will double any coupons.  You must also present the in ad coupon for doubling coupons along with your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card.  Keep in mind since most stores are Franchise owned, sale prices, the dates they double coupons (typically Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and coupon policies may vary.  Go here to view the corporate coupon policy.
Sales prices can vary by store.  Check your local ad here for any variations. Start dates of the ad can vary by store, so be sure to check that detail while you are viewing your local ad as well.
During baseball and football season, the Pig has what they call Home Run Bonus and TouchDown Bonus.  When you spend $50 or more, you will receive a coupon printed out along with your Pig Points statement.  The $50 is pretax and does not include tobacco, tax, gift cards, money orders, lottery, postal and other desk services.  This coupon will earn you $0.04 off per gallon of gas per home run the Brewers make during their next game, or per touchdown pass the Packers make at their next game.  You can earn up to $0.16 off per gallon, per game.  Then bring in the bonus coupon during the next sale week (specific dates will be listed on the bonus coupon) to have the points credited to your account.
The Pig has a Bag O Buck program where they stamp a card for each reuseable bag you bring in and use during your shopping trip.  After you hit 30, you get a $1 credit on your shopping order.
Piggly Wiggly is also a member of Saving Star.  Go here to sign up for your account now.  What is Saving Star?  Think of them as coupons you don’t need to print or cut out.  They are ecoupons you attach to your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card.  See my post here to read further on SavingStar.
Piggly Wiggly is now a part of the Ibotta program.  Go here and download the Ibotta app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and link it to your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card.  Then choose products before your shopping trip.  Go to Piggly Wiggly and purchase those products, making sure to use your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card during that trip.  Your savings will then be added to your Ibotta account, which you can send to a PayPal account.
Finally, Piggly Wiggly in ad coupons require a separate $10 or larger non-coupon purchase in order to honor that coupon price.

The items below are those from the ad with coupon match-ups only.   The totals listed in the below deals are after valid coupons have been doubled.  Since Piggly Wiggly manually doubles their coupons, coupons that state “do not double” can be doubled as their system will allow it.  However, due to the wording on the coupon, your local store does have the right to refuse to double these coupons.  Prices can vary by store, so be sure to check your local ad for any variations.

Festival Foods Deals (3 Boomerang Buys and Web Only) – 3/1/15 to 3/7/15

-

Keep in mind prices may vary by store so check out your local ad here (not available until Sunday start date of the ad).  There are usually 5 different categories of ads (newspaper, online, wine/spirits, yellow sheet (boomerang) and orange sheet (HBC/GM) in effective each week, so be sure to review each one.  The Internet Only Ad is a lot of the yellow sheet items and pink tag items.  This ad is not printed or found in stores.
Festival Foods offers $0.05 instant savings off your order per every reusable bag you bring in and use during your shopping trip.  If you are using the self check-out, the PLU code for reusable bags is 65.  You will then be asked to type in the quantity of reusable bags you are using in your transaction. To view Festival’s coupon policy, go here.
Festival is a member of Saving Star.  Go here to sign up for your account now. What is Saving Star?  Think of them as coupons you don’t need to print or cut out.  They are ecoupons you attach to your Upromise Keytag that are available at the front desk. You don’t need to be a Upromise member to get that card and register it with SavingStar – which you can do here.  SavingStar coupons don’t come off your total at the store, rather they get applied to your online SavingStar account about 3-30 days after purchasing the product and using your keytag card at checkout.  You will get an email letting you know when that money has been applied to your account.  In my experience, it has taken 2 days.  Basically by using Saving Star, you are able to use up to 3 coupons (MFG, Store & SavingStar) on one product!  Once you reach $5, you can redeem that for various gift cards, PayPal or direct bank deposit.  Saving Star is currently working on additional ways to redeem your amounts.

SavingStar, Inc. Save on groceries with no clipping and no printing today

Not only does the beginning of the month mean reset coupons at coupons.com, but also at SavingStar!  Check out the current new selection and add them to your account while they are still available!

I joined SavingStar in October 2012 and love this program!  Go here to sign up for your own account now.  What is SavingStar?  Think of them as coupons you don’t need to print or cut out.  They are ecoupons you attach to your Piggly Wiggly Preferred Card, Pick N Save Card or Festival Foods.  Since Festival Foods doesn’t have a card, register the ‘Upromise keytag’ available at the front desk. You don’t need to be a Upromise member to get that card and register it with SavingStar.

SavingStar coupons don’t come off your total at the store, rather they get applied to your online SavingStar account 2-30 days after purchasing the product and using your store card.  It’s almost like getting cash back for purchasing certain items.  You will get an email letting you know when that money has been applied to your SavingStar account.  In my experience, it has taken less than a week for my account to be credited.  Basically by using SavingStar, you could potentially use up to 3 coupons on one product!  You can use a manufacturer coupon, store coupon and also have the SavingStar ecoupon applied to your online account.  Once you reach $5, you can redeem that for various gift cards, PayPal or direct bank deposit.  SavingStar is currently working on additional ways to redeem your amounts.

Below is an example of the email you will receive when your account has been credited (click on the picture to enlarge it if necessary).  The subject will be ‘Savings added to your account!’.

Coupons.com Reminder

It is the beginning of the month, which means new and/or reset coupons here at coupons.com!  I suggest you scope them out as some coupons only have a certain number of prints available, so it’s best to check them out early while the selection is still good.
It’s important to note that coupons that say ‘available at Walmart’ (or any other store for that matter) do NOT need to be redeemed only at Walmart.  However, these are the ones that you may not be able to use at other stores if that store is particular about accepting coupons with other store’s logos.  But, these are still manufacturer’s coupons so you should be able to use them anywhere that accepts manufacturer’s coupons.  You will need to look out for the ones that state ‘redeemable only at Walmart’ for ones that can only be used at the store listed on the coupon.

Menards Deals – 3/1/15 to 3/15/15

All rebates mentioned below are the in the form of a merchandise credit check.  The rebate receipts will print at the bottom of your checkout receipt.  Then go to the service counter to collect the rebate form number that corresponds to the number on your rebate receipt(s).  Complete lists of currently running rebates and their printable forms can also be found here (click on ‘browse all rebates’).

I would suggest saving your rebates for a few weeks at a time, paying attention to the post mark date on the rebate forms.  This way you can save on postage by sending a few weeks worth of rebates in at a time, rather than sending them in each week.  As long as the rebates are going to the same PO Box (usually 155), they can be sent in the same envelope.   You can track rebates you have sent in here. You can view your local Menard’s ads (usually there a couple effective at one time) by visiting their website here.

Be sure to also go here to look for and print any coupons you may need to use for items not on sale so you don’t pay full price for anything you don’t have to!  You can print the same coupon twice per computer.  So make sure to hit your browser’s back button to print a second one.  Coupons typically refresh and/or change at the beginning of the month.  However, some new ones can pop-up at any time so be sure to check back often.
